Happy Thursday everyone! It has been a much cooler and overcast day across the South Plains with highs dipping back into the upper 60’s. This is all due to the cold front that has been sliding across the region today. As it clears out, it will be followed with some more substantial shower and thunderstorm chances that will continue on and off through the beginning of next week. Thankfully, the severe weather chances will be low over the next few days. Just make sure to keep your umbrellas handy and stay weather aware! Temperatures will be slow to get back to average, moving into the low 70’s tomorrow, the mid-70’s on Friday and finally into the low 80’s by Sunday.
