Happy FINALLY Friday everyone! It has been another beautiful, sunny, and warm day across the South Plains with highs only reaching into the upper 70’s. This mini cool down is brought to us by the cold front that slid across the region late last night through early this morning. Now we will see high pressure take over bringing a rapid warm up and more sunshine to the forecast. Highs will move into the mid-80’s on Saturday and then back into the low 90’s starting on Sunday. Temperatures will stay hot throughout next week so make sure to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also, make sure to bring your pets inside during those peak heating hours and keep them hydrated as well.
