Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been a slightly warmer day across the region with highs moving back into the low to mid-50’s. This slow warming trend will continue throughout the remainder of the work week with highs moving into the upper 60’s on Thursday and Friday and with dry and sunny conditions expected. However, low temperatures will remain below the freezing mark yet again tomorrow morning so it is still imperative to remember to bring your pets and potted plants indoors so that they can stay safe and healthy. Then over the weekend, our next front will slide across the South Plains bringing another cool down. Temperatures will drop into the low 60’s on Saturday with a much more drastic drop into the upper 40’s on Sunday. Despite this change, we will have to wait until the middle of next week for rain chances to return.
