Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been a sunny and cooler day across the South Plains with temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 60’s. Following this mini cool spell, we will start to see temperatures rebound back into the 70’s tomorrow and then the mid to upper 80’s on Friday. This means we have a nice warm night ahead for Friday night football playoff games. Unfortunately, these unseasonably warm temperatures will disappear quickly as our next front pushes across the region late Friday night into Saturday morning. This will drop highs back into the low 60’s just in time for our last Texas Tech home game of the season. Folks will want to bundle up for the 11AM kickoff and any early morning tailgating. Again, just like last week, we are expecting a dry and sunny forecast with fluctuations in winds and cloud cover as the temperatures change. We will start to see temperatures move back above average by the beginning of next week.
