Happy FINALLY Friday everyone! It has been a beautiful and sunny day across the South Plains with highs moving back in the upper 60’s. This warming trend will continue for one more day with highs moving into the low 70’s on Saturday. Sunshine will remain abundant throughout the weekend and next week, but we are watching for our next front to arrive on Sunday. This will cause wind speeds to pick up over the next few days and it will bring a twenty degree drop in high temperatures for the second half of the weekend. It will also cause our low temperatures to drop back below the freezing mark on Monday and Tuesday mornings so it is still imperative to remember to bring your pets and potted plants indoors so that they can stay safe and healthy.
