Happy FINALLY Friday everyone! It has been a windy and dusty day across the South Plains and unfortunately those conditions are expected to continue tomorrow as well. That means that it is important to bring anything inside that can be blown around, try to avoid burning of any kind and to make sure to dispose of cigarettes properly. Temperatures will also continue to drop through the first half of next week. Highs will drop into the mid-60’s tomorrow, the upper 50’s on Sunday and then the mid-40’s on Monday and Tuesday. Lows will drop back below freezing by Monday morning so it is imperative to bring your pets and potted plants indoors on Sunday night to make sure they stay safe and healthy. We have a few precipitation chances headed our way – the first Sunday night into Monday and then next week beginning Thursday night and throughout Friday.
