Happy Thursday everyone! It has been a much cooler day across the South Plains with highs only reaching into the upper 70’s. As we move into the evening hours, we will watch for another chance for showers with a few embedded thunderstorms possible. This will remain the case on Friday as well with more around average temperatures and a minor rain chance. Thankfully, we are not expecting any severe weather at this time, but with the high school football games going on Friday night, it is still important to stay weather aware. Temperatures will rebound on Saturday before another cool down begins on Sunday. This next cool down will be brought on by a cold front that will push across the region, but this system will remain dry. With all of these temperature fluctuations, make sure to keep your jackets handy!
