Happy Monday everyone! It has been another sunny and warmer day across the South Plains with highs reaching into the mid-80’s. These sunny and warm conditions will be very brief though as we are expecting another cool down as early as tomorrow. Temperatures will drop into the upper 70’s for the majority of the week with a slight warm up into the low 80’s by the weekend. Today we will watch for a slight chance for an isolated shower or two with higher shower and thunderstorm chances arriving as early as Tuesday night and continuing through Friday. Just like last week, we are not expecting any severe weather with these storms, but localized flooding and low visibilities will be a major risk. Make sure to drive with caution and remember to turn around, don’t drown!
