Happy Tuesday everyone!  It was another hot day across the South Plains, temperatures are staying well into the 90’s along with mostly sunny conditions.  This evening the mostly clear skies will continue with a low temperature near 66 degrees.  Most of the region will remain dry this evening but a slight chance for showers and storms is possible for the southeastern portion of the forecast area.  The above temperatures will continue for the next few days. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear lots of sunscreen.  Friday high temperatures will begin their slow cool down dropping into the low 90’s.  By Saturday high’s will be much cooler, in the low 80’s along with more storm chances.  The storms chances  and cooler temperatures will continue through the weekend. Low temperatures this week will remain in the upper 60’s before cooling to the low 60’s on Sunday.  Make it a great week!
