Happy Saturday everyone! It was a cloudy and cool day today across the South Plains and we have more clouds and rain chances in the forecast. Tonight low temperatures will drop near 68 degrees along with mostly cloudy conditions and a chance for showers and storms. The rain chances will increase this evening and continue through the week. The highest chances for rain will be Sunday through Tuesday. Possible rain totals through the end of the week range between three to nine inches. Be sure to stay weather aware because localized flooding is possible. Don’t forget to grab an umbrella and remember, don’t drive through any pooling water. The rain and clouds will keep high temperatures cool this week. High’s will stay below average ranging from the upper 60’s to the upper 70’s through the week. Low’s temperatures slowly trend into the 50’s by Tuesday. Stay dry and have a great weekend!
