Happy Monday everyone! The first weekend of Fall has been absolutely beautiful with temperatures remaining around average. Today above average temperatures returned with more sunshine on tap. This will remain the case throughout much of the day tomorrow but by the evening hours, we watch for our next cold front to push into the region. It will bring more shower and thunderstorm chances Tuesday through much of the day on Wednesday with a cool down also occurring on Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to drop by about twenty degrees so keep a jacket handy. Following the rain, we will see another quick warm up and more abundant sunshine. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also, don’t forget about your pets outdoors – bring them inside during peak heating hours and make sure that they are staying hydrated as well.
