Happy Tuesday everyone! After a warm start to the work week, we are watching for our next cold front to push into the region late this evening. It will bring more shower and thunderstorm chances overnight tonight and throughout much of the day on Wednesday. No severe weather is expected at this time but flooding and low visibility will be a threat to drivers so make sure to be cautious on your commute. Temperatures are expected to drop by about twenty degrees within the next 24 hours but this cool down will be short-lived. Following the rain, we will see another quick warm up and more abundant sunshine beginning on Thursday. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours. Also, don’t forget about your pets outdoors – bring them inside during peak heating hours and make sure that they are staying hydrated as well.
