Happy Thursday everyone! It has been yet another rainy and cool day across the South Plains with high temperatures remaining in the low to mid 60’s today and tomorrow and lows dropping into the low to mid 50’s. Just like yesterday and today, showers and thunderstorms will continue dictate the forecast tomorrow so make sure to bundle up and keep your rain gear handy. We are not expecting any severe weather with these storms, but localized flooding and low visibilities will be a major risk. Make sure to drive with caution and remember to turn around, don’t drown! Rain chances will slowly diminish as we head into the weekend, but we are still watching for storms to impact high school football games and the Texas Tech game against OSU this weekend therefore it is imperative to stay weather aware!
