Happy Thursday everyone! It has been yet another mild day across the South Plains with a mix of sun, clouds and rain. Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue tonight and on and off over the next two days, tapering off bt Saturday afternoon. Thankfully, we are under no severe weather risk at this time. The biggest threats over the next few days will be lightning and flooding so make sure to drive with caution. The rain and clouds will also keep our temperatures below average in the upper 70’s and low 80’s today through Sunday. However, beginning next week, the sunshine will return allowing temperatures so bump back up above average.
