Happy Friday everyone! We have had another beautiful and sunny day across the South Plains with warm and breezy conditions becoming the norm. Tonight we are expecting perfect weather for area wide events and high school football games so go out and enjoy! High pressure will continue to reign over the area throughout the next week so sunshine will remain abundant. Temperatures will stay mild throughout the weekend, but we have a warming trend expected next week with highs moving back into the low 90’s by next Thursday so make sure to stay sun safe – wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours.
