Today: Temperatures are quickly warming up and we will top out in the upper 70s by midday. Very dry conditions will persist through the day and even result in elevated fire weather conditions. Sky conditions will stay mostly clear with lots of sunshine. Winds will be much more calm today from the west at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: A weak front will push through this evening, shifting winds to the northeast. Temperatures will fall again into the upper 30s, which is right around normal for this time of year. Mostly clear conditions will remain overnight and northeasterly winds will stay at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Cooler air is on it’s way and we will see about a 10-degree temperatures drop by Thursday. By Friday, we will fall into the upper 50s behind a cold front. This front will also bring a chance for some isolated showers and storms on Friday. Areas off the Caprock have the best chance at seeing this rain. By the start of next week, highs will rebound back into the lower 80s.

Have a great day!
