Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been a much warmer day across the South Plains with highs reaching into the upper 70’s. The warming trend will continue tomorrow with temperatures briefly moving into the mid-80’s before the next cold front pushes into the region. This front will bring a slow cool down over the weekend and a slight chance for rain beginning Friday night and continuing into Saturday morning. Cloud cover will increase ahead of the cold front on Thursday and will stick around through Saturday morning. Windy conditions and sunshine will then return on Saturday afternoon and proceed to stick around for much of next week.
