Happy Finally Friday everyone! It is another sunny and mild day across the South Plains with highs remaining in the upper 70’s. The upper level ridge will set up over the region tomorrow allowing for abundant sunshine and temperatures to warm up quickly moving into the mid-80’s on Saturday and the low 90’s on Sunday. However, another system will approach the region on Sunday evening allowing for moisture to re-enter the area. This combined with the dry line that will be set up over the South Plains will bring us our next round of showers and thunderstorms Sunday evening through Wednesday. We have another chance for severe storms so make sure to stay weather aware throughout the beginning of next week.
