Happy Tuesday everyone! It has been another beautiful and warmer day across the South Plains with highs reaching into the upper 80’s and low 90’s. With the cold front approaching the region this evening, wind speeds will increase tonight and tomorrow with another large drop in temperatures by Wednesday afternoon. This mid-week cool down will be short-lived though with highs moving back into the mid-70’s on Thursday and then the upper 80’s and low 90’s by the weekend. Despite the mid-week cold front, sunshine will be abundant throughout the remainder of the work week and weekend so make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated! However, starting Monday and Tuesday, rain returns to the forecast so make sure to stay tuned for updates and keep your umbrellas handy!
