Happy Friday everyone! It has been a warmer and sunny day across the South Plains with the warming trend expected to continue through tomorrow. Highs will move back into the upper 80’s tomorrow and Sunday before the next big cool down. Sunshine will continue to be abundant throughout the weekend so make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated! Winds will stay calm through Saturday but as our next system approaches the area, wind speeds will pick up and cloud cover will be on the increase. This system will bring our next chance for rain beginning as early as Sunday night and continuing through Wednesday so make sure to keep an umbrella handy and stay tuned for updates.
