Happy Wednesday everyone! We have another cool and sunny day across the region with highs sitting low 50’s. Temperatures will warm into the low 60’s on Thursday but this warm up will be very short-lived as the low pressure system approaches the South Plains. Friday cloud cover will increase greatly and temperatures will plummet into the upper 40’s. Our next chance for precipitation will be late Friday night into early Saturday morning. The majority of the region will see rain but the Northwest corridor will have the potential for some wintry precipitation. Make sure to bring your pets and potted plants indoors over the next few days and don’t forget about your pipes over the weekend! Precipitation chances will continue through Sunday with a slight chance on Monday. However, temperatures will continue to rise, moving back into the upper 50’s by Monday and the 60’s by Tuesday. Then we watch for another cool down mid-week.
