Happy Tuesday everyone! We have had an overcast day following this morning’s early cold front. We are expecting cloudy and cool conditions for the remainder of the day but we will see some drying as we move into the later evening hours. This will lead to a light freeze for some folks in the Northwestern South Plains early tomorrow morning. We are expecting a slight chance for rain in the Southern South Plains on Thursday morning as a closed low moves to our South. However, following this system, high pressure will take over the region for the remainder of the work week with temperatures remaining below average through Saturday. Then we will see a quick warming trend and lots of sunshine across the region!
