Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been another beautiful, sunny, and warm day across the South Plains with similar conditions expected tomorrow. However, tomorrow evening a strong cold front will push across the region bringing a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be strong to severe. This front will also cause a significant drop in afternoon highs moving them from the upper 80’s tomorrow into the low to mid-60’s on Friday. We will continue to see an isolated chance of storms over the weekend but temperatures will begin a slow warming trend. Next week afternoon highs will be back in the mid-80’s and sunshine will be abundant!
