Happy Sunday! It was a gorgeous weekend across the South Plains following Saturday morning’s thunderstorms. Temperatures will slowly continue to rise tomorrow with more sunshine expected. However, as we move into late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, another cold front will move across the region. It will stall out over the South Plains during the day and then clear out by the evening hours. Late Tuesday afternoon and evening is when we expect to see the next round of thunderstorms with the biggest threat being heavy rainfall and therefore low visibility and localized flooding. If you see pooling water, turn around don’t drown. Rain chances will continue through the remainder of the week with a very slow cool down into the weekend.
