Happy Monday everyone! It has been a gorgeous start to the work week with sunny and warm conditions over the South Plains. This is all brought on by the upper level ridge that is building over the region. Temperatures are expected to stay in the low 90’s for the next few days with more sunshine and breezy conditions. We will start to see changes as we move into the weekend when a weak trough will move into the region bringing a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms on Saturday as well as another cool down into the low 80’s. We are watching Sunday and Monday for more rain chances but will leave them out of the forecast at this time.
