Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been another beautiful day across the South Plains but the upper level ridge will weaken over the next 24 hours and allow for a slight increase in cloud cover and a very small drop in temperatures tomorrow and Friday. However, we will notice a much bigger change as we move into the weekend. A cold front will push across the region late Friday night into early Saturday morning bringing us a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms as well as a much bigger drop in temperatures. By Sunday highs will only be in the mid-70’s. Rain chances will stick around through Monday and then sky conditions will clear out and temperatures will slowly start to warm up.
