Happy Friday everyone! It has been a gorgeous day with temperatures remaining in the 80’s and lots of sunshine. However, as we move into late tonight and early Saturday morning we will start to see some pop up thunderstorms. Most of these storms will be scattered and will bring light to moderate rainfall but some may bring some stronger winds and small hail. Overcast conditions will take over tomorrow with more storm chances expected. At this time most of the storms will be concentrated in the Eastern South Plains. Some of Saturday’s storms may bring some heavier rainfall along with the strong wind gusts and small hail so make sure to watch for flooding. These rainy conditions will continue to impact the region on Sunday with temperatures dropping into the upper 60’s for your highs. Then rain will clear out on Monday leaving sunny conditions for the remainder of the week.
