A federal magistrate ruled that Gary Don Boyd Graves, 32, of Lubbock can be released from jail before his trial date.
Graves was indicted for possession of pre-pubescent child pornography. He was arrested on June 15 and as of Thursday was still held in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
Graves can have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18. He cannot loiter near schools, playgrounds, swimming pools, arcades or other places where children might be frequently found.
Graves is forbidden from any pornographic material and he cannot have computer or Internet access without permission from the office of Probation and Pretrial Services. Graves is also required to wear a GPS tracking device.
The magistrate ordered that Graves can be released on a personal recognizance bond.
A police report said his girlfriend called police in February when she found sexual images of children on his cell phone.
The trial has been tentatively scheduled for mid-August.
